Tate is 4 Years Old!!

My wild and crazy boy is now 4 years old! I guess I should do a special post just for him! Here are 10 current things about Tate! Happy Birthday!
1. He loves food! his favorites are hot dogs, cheeseburgers, cheese, mac and cheese, slushies, special k with strawberries, and french toast! He usually loves to eat whatever Preston eats!
2. He loves Nerf Guns
3. His favorite show is Mickey Mouse clubhouse, and movie is Toy Story
4. He loves to wrestle his dad
5. He likes to help clean. He is best at mopping, dishes, and dusting
6. His new favorite thing to do is play football and baseball!
7. He talks to Ty is the funniest little high pitched voice! Very unusual for him!
8. His best friend is his cousin Wade! He loves him more than anyone! They are wild maniacs together!
9. He is always the first one to volunteer for family prayer!
10. He is the most boyish kid ever - if it involves balls, dirt, bikes, wrestling...he is in!

We love our big guy so much! He makes us laugh so hard every day!

Tate's Superhero Party

A few days after getting back from the Windy City we had a big bash for Tate's 4th birthday! It was not the most organized party, but it turned out all right! I will do a lot more preparing next time! My sister in law Tonya was so nice to let me use her sweet sewing machine for the capes! Thanks Tonya! He loved it his party, and that is the most important thing right! So here are some fun pics from he Superhero Party!

Chicago!

Preston and I went on a little getaway to Chicago a few weeks ago! He won tickets to the PGA championship so I met him in Chicago for a few days! My sister and mom watched all of our kids! Thank you two! So here is a recap of our trip!
The first morning we got there we went on a really fun bike tour that took us all over the city! It was a great way to see everything, we loved it!


The first Playboy Mansion

Oprah lives on the top two floors..what up Oprah!
Lincoln Park! They have a free zoo here too!I didn't know that Chicago was on a lake, well pretty much an ocean! It has an amazing harbor and pier!

We went to see Shrek the musical, it was really cute!As luck would have it, there was this amazing Water and Air show on the pier the weekend we were there! It blows any air show I have seen

The White Sox GameEvery Saturday night they do fireworks on the pier so we are just watching them! It was a really fun couple of days! PS, Preston got some gnarly cold sores while we were vacationing, poor guy!

Steel Family Reunion..oh man I am behind

At the end of July we were able to go to St. George for the Steel reunion! The first night we went to Tuacahn and saw Tarzan. The following day we went camping up in Pine Valley! We were all having fun until monsoonal rain came and kinda ruined the fun! We ended up packing up and going back to St. George and having more fun there! The Steel's always include tons of fun activities for the kids and adults! On Saturday we went to the Fancy Nancy tea party with the Atkin family! It was darling as always! We also did lots of swimming and just hanging out together!
