Today we went down to SLC for a Halloween Party, which I was right on time for! (right Tonya, so sorry!) Then we did a little shopping and went to Gardner Village to see the cute witches out. The kids got all dressed up in their costumes and looked really cute. I can't wait until tomorrow! Happy Happy Halloween Everyone, we hope you have tons of fun!
If you are looking for a fun quick easy craft for tomorrow, we loved this. For FHE we had a Halloween lesson, we made our trick or treat bags and then made these fun luminaries. You just use Mason jars, glue on felt for the faces and then cover with tissue and put a candle inside. It was fun and really simple! Tate is not one who likes to sit down for a while and he loved it.
We were so excited that HSM 3 is here! And boy oh boy it was fantastic! We went on Friday with Jaime, Paige and my mom and we loved it! If you are a fan, it for sure is the best one. A little cheesey, but that is expected. And Troy is cuter than ever! I even threw a few hollers for him with all the other teeny boppers! Katelyn loved dancing through all the music and loved every minute of it. We are sad it is over, but they definitely wrap it up well in the end! If any one is thinking of going, call us, we will for sure go again!
Well one Hippie costume down. I haven't gotten around to making the costumes very quick this year. I finally finished Katelyn's last night and she is loving it. I definitely would have changed it a little and bought a pattern but it turned out alright. The accessories definitely make the get up. Hopefully Tate will be wearing his soon as well. Hopefully Katelyn can teach him how to get into character!!
I almost choked while watching this..it is so funny. You have to admit Ellen is so funny, I love her show.
We went out looking for our pumpkins tonight. We went to this fun patch that is a little pricey, but way funner and cuter than walmart or home depot...gotta have cute pictures right! Katelyn only wanted a pumpkin that was 5 dollars, no more no less. The price was written with a sharpie on the top of each pumpkin, so we had to look at all of them and find the 5 dollar ones then pick one from there. Tate found one pumpkin he liked and he was good to go. He just wanted to push the wagon. So we got just one big one and a few little ones so we could all paint. We are definitely not artists, but we had fun!
This weekend we had a fun little overnighter up at the Homestead. Shaun and Tonya were nice enough to let us tag along for a trip. Preston's parents were up North as well, so it was a little family reunion. We had such a fun time swimming and just relaxing. The kids had a great time hanging out with their cousins. It was beautiful up there, but definitely winter is coming. And of course we fit in some good Park City shopping on the way home. Thanks again Shaun and Tonya for letting us join you!
We went with The Milla's last week to this fun place called The Kangaroo Zoo. If you haven't heard of it here's the scoop. Just a big old room with lots and lots of huge blow up slides and stuff..what more could a kid ask for right! They had a blast, Caleb was the biggest daredevil for sure. And little Zoee just roamed the joint. It was fun to hang out with their cute family!
This is what our girl picks to wear outside to play. She is really into changing clothes and I heard her go outside and this is what I find. The new neighborhood is going to love us right?

Here are 5 fun facts about Miss Katelyn
1. She is a performer. She will sing or dance in front of pretty much anyone. Especially if she gets some good music she will go nuts. She loves to look at herself in the mirror and practice her moves and do pretend poses for the camera. She pretty much considers herself a Rock STAR!
2. Her favorite foods are burritos, pizza, ice cream, strawberries, candy, noodles, and frosted mini wheats. She pretty much eats a burrito every day. She loves anything sweet, a girl after my own heart.
3. She is a cleaner. She loves to help me go around the house and clean. If I am cleaning, which I never do - ha ha, she will say "mommy, can I help" and I put her to work. Her favorite thing to do it dust the baseboards. She loves to organize things and lay things out in order.
4. She is 3 going on 13! This may reflect my poor mommy skills, but oh well, I try. She loves shows like high school musical, hannah montana, camp rock, wizards of waverly place, etc. I really try to only let her watch one a day but she has a very good memory of things and lately she has started saying things like "whatever major loser" and "hello, duh", Yeah I know...horrible, we are going to stick to Mickey Mouse clubhouse.
5. She is a very nice little girl. I would say overall she is one of the sweetest most loving kids. She loves people and has a lot of love to share. She really loves her cousins and her little friends. She talks about kids her age all the time and wants them all to come over and play. She is also very patient with Tate and a good buddy to him. He can be pretty rough with her and she puts up with a lot of hair pulling and tackling.
That is my beautiful little girl. We have been so blessed to have such a wonderful healthy daughter. She is definitely a kid who makes me want to have lots and lots of more kids, especially girls. I have loved every single minute of having her in our lives. She is just my little buddy and I love her more than anything. (sniffle, sniffle!)

Katelyn has a CD player in her room and I heard quite a ruckus in there. I went in and she was jamming out to Miley, Camp Rock, HSM, and many more. Katelyn loves music and dancing so we made her a mix of her faves and she loves it - She can sure shake it! Don't mind Tate's yelling in the background!
