LOVE DAY!!

We had a fabulous Valentines Day/Week this year! It is becoming one of my very favorite holidays, it is so fun for the little kids especially! I decided to throw Katelyn's little friends a party this year. We had really fun at it. We did some little crafts, bracelets, and ate some pizza and treats. I wasn't too on the ball with taking pictures during the party, but we had a good time. We had so much fun that I decided to have another party with adults. I just kept all of our stuff out for a few days. We ate a big dinner with friends and then played Just Dance on the wii. On Valentines Day we did the usual festivities but the main event was taking the kids to buy their very own goldfish! This is the first pets we have ever had in our home so we will see how we do. Carl and Lucy are still alive so that is a good sign I suppose! I didn't take a ton of pictures, but here are some that I got. Hope you all had a great love day!

All the yummy treats, we have all eaten a ridiculous amount of sugar this week

Katelyn and her friend Gracie
Those little babies on the right are meringue cookies I made, they were a big pain in the neck but they turned out pretty! The craft projects...this is the only picture I got!

The kids made big valentines for Daddy

Preston bought me and Katelyn some flowers to go on our new table, so pretty!

Tate's Football Party

We had a little Superbowl get together a few weeks back. Tate really wanted it to be his own Football party so that's what it was :) My family all came over and watched the game and ate TONS of yummy food! We loved the commercials and the half time show with the Black Eyed Peas!

Christmas 2010

Christmas came and went fast in our house! Our month was so busy, it all seemed to fly by! We loved every minute of it and we are sad it is over! We were up here for Christmas Eve and Christmas morning and then we went to St. George to see Preston's family Christmas afternoon. I didn't take very many pictures, weird I know! We were just having too great of a time :)
We went to see the lights with Shaun and Tonya's family. We had a blast as always! The kids had so much fun together!

Katelyn's 6th Birthday!

My little girl turned 6 years old yesterday! Whoa, I have a 6 year old! We had a little party for her this week with her friends and cousins! We did the Olivia the Pig theme and it turned out cute! I was a little overwhelmed with things to do, so it wasn't too extravagant, I wish I would have done more stuff! Ah well! She loved it and we had a really fun!
The Birthday Girly!

They worked on these cute paper doll sets I found on the Olivia websiteThen they made necklaces

This was a sorta lame musical stars gameKatelyn conducting the birthday song

Here is her cake again, this is the same stuff I used for Ty's! I love it! And her invitation too!

Ty is 1!!!

I wanted to post this cute video of us singing to Ty! This kinda shows his fun sweet personality! So now that he is 12 months, here are 12 current things about him!

1. He can take some steps, but prefers crawling
2. He loves food!
3. He thinks Tate is so funny
4. He has the most hilarious deep laugh
5. He likes to play peek-a-boo
6. He gives big hugs and pats your back when you pick him up, well if he likes you!
7. He dances as soon as he hears any music
8. He hates the car, he usually sticks his fingers down his throat and makes himself throw up if he really doesn't want to be there
9. He is so busy and into everything
10. He is pretty stubborn, if he wants something he will growl and scream until he gets it
11. He likes to remove the heating vent covers and put his legs in them
12. He is a nightmare at restaurants!

Ty's 1st Birthday!

Ty turned 1 years old last month and since we like him so much we thought we would throw him a party! I did a little bouncy ball theme and it turned out pretty cute! He would've been fine with a scoop of ice cream but birthdays are only once a year right! The pictures aren't that great..but if you haven't noticed I am a bit behind on the blogging so I am not going to edit them all!

Happy Little guy!

He loved having everyone sing to him! His cake was super fun to make, there are these cute little sets of sugar paper that are so easy! I highly recommend them if you aren't the best at fondant!
And what else did he love...HIS CAKE!

Feeding Papa his yummy cake!

And he had to have a bath after the cake!

Happy Birthday Ty! I can't believe my little baby is 1!

Halloween!!

we had a great time this past weekend with Halloween Happenings! Nothing too extra special, but Halloween is always fun right! Friday, cousins came over to make some yummy haunted houses. Saturday was the day for rainy trick or treating and Sunday we had a big dinner with family. My kids were what they wanted to be when they grow up...a tennis player, a doctor, and a golfer! They looked darling if I do say so myself! now on to Christmas!!!

This way our way of getting out of carving Jack-o-lanterns this year! Let's hope we can repeat it always!
