Logan Half Marathon

I ran one more half marathon today up in Logan. I figured while I was already in training for one, I might as well run another and I wanted to see what time I could get. And I knew two girls, Mindi and Brenda, who were running it as well, so I thought why not. It went pretty well. I actually felt really really great the first 8 1/2 miles, but then my knee started hurting super bad, so I had to significantly reduce my speed. I was still pleased with my time, but hope to do it a little faster next time. I feel good, minus the knee pain. I just do not know how people can do a full marathon..props you people. It was a fun race and it was fun to hang out with Brenda and Mindi...good work ladies!!! Next time I suggest one of them drive though..ha ha!

Hey I'm glad you found my blog! Good job running! Clyde was going to come up and run this one but we had some things come up. So what was your time?

Um..ya, i'd probably recommend another driver next time, we're lucky we made it to the race to run without being ran over by that huge truck!! Ha Ha! By the way, the cup of noodles sat very well throughout the race, you should try them next time! Speaking of next time, there's one is Huntsville Sept 6 we're thinking of doing, i'll let you know more as i find out!!

Whoa lady, ease up on those marathons. You should read this book...Ultra Marathon Man. It's so motivating...I'm sure you'd love it.
