While Preston has been busy on our house I have put some time into projects. I found some sweet deals on products that needed a little touch up. My latest project is a growth chart for Tate's room. I had an idea in my mind and ran to Robert's and Home Depot and got to it. The entire cost of the project...8 dollars!! Including an entire jar of mod podge which I will use often. Wahoo Wahoo! Yes, not as fancy as the one Tonya has, but I am happy with it. Now to the key rack!
Okay..I probably should have put some sort of instruction right. So I just bought a board from Home Depot for like 4 dollars. Then I got some cute coordinating paper and mod podge from Roberts. Then I cut the board like 2 feet off so I can hang it on the wall. Next I cut the paper the same width as the board and measured the length of the board and divided it into how many papers I had. I painted a coat of mod podge on and then placed each paper down. Then I mod podged over the paper. Then I put the squares of cardstock with mod podge as well. And then I glued on the letters. Then I just put a little paint and rub ons on . You could paint the board but I didn't want it to look super crafty for a boys room. I for sure would paint a girls white or something girly. Also, I wouldn't use Chatterbox paper, very cute but thin so it doesn't mod podge well in my experience. Whoa, sounds like a lot of work but it was super simple!
